Back in 2017 we had a most pleasant project working with Harborough District Council on their indoor sports facilities strategy. We got to know that attractive part of the country really well. So we were delighted to be appointed to work with them on an update of their playing pitch strategy or PPS. The study covers bowls, cricket, football, hockey, tennis, rounders and rugby union.
As ever, this followed the Sport England PPS guidance and will involved detailed consultations with local clubs, leagues and the NGBs across Leicestershire and Rutland.
Our final report was submitted in May 2022. In March 2024 we were appointed to carry out a review of the strategy and to update the findings and action plan. The project was completed by the autumn, signed off by Sport England and the NGBs and the amended PSPS has been adopted by the council.
