The word unique is so overused it’s a cliche, but it was totally appropriate on Wednesday 4th August 2010 when Everton played Everton at Goodison Park. The “other” Everton were from Vina del Mar in Chile a club established in 1909 by some British sailors of outstanding good taste.
After many years of trying the Ruleteros Society managed to arrange a fixture between the two clubs who played for the “Brotherhood Cup”. A truely unique occasion and an opportunity for me to mix business and pleasure.
