Monitoring and Evaluation

Monitoring and Evaluation; We have a strong track record of monitoring and evaluating initiatives from large national programmes to small-scale local community projects. These include:

  • Two major national programmes for the Lawn Tennis Association, the Indoor Tennis Initiative and the Community Tennis Partnership. The commissions involved interviews with participants and project partners, assessing quantitative and qualitative material and making recommendations on the future direction of the programmes.

  • Post-completion monitoring of Sport England Lottery funded projects in the East, East Midlands and London regions. The commission involved interviews with grant recipients and assessing projects against their original objectives.

  • The Faith in Queen’s Park inter-faith initiative, comprising four local projects in a multi-cultural neighbourhood in Bedford. The work involved monitoring youth basketball and cricket schemes, a music project for young people and an oral history project charting and celebrating the heritage of the area. The outputs and outcomes of the projects in cultivating links between the diverse communities of the area were identified and celebrated in a promotional leaflet in the hope that they might be replicated in other areas.

  • A partnership project involving Orchestras Live, the Alzheimer’s Society, Fusion Choir and the Philharmonia Orchestra. We are monitoring a groundbreaking intergenerational collaboration, which involves working with people with dementia and young people from deprived backgrounds to compose and perform music.
